Causa Nº 1695/2024 – Lesión de Confianza (Breach of Trust)
Criminal Proceedings Against Former President of RELJUV S.A. Initiated
On September 30, 2025, the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Villarrica filed charges
against Juan Joaquín Buker for Breach of Trust (Lesión de Confianza).
According to the indictment, Buker allegedly misappropriated approximately 19.3
billion Guaraníes between March and October 2023, during his tenure as President
of RELJUV S.A. The alleged acts include bank transfers, cashed checks, and self-
payments without sufficient documentation or proper accounting records.
The case is based on complaints, witness statements, notarial deeds, company
records, external audit reports, and an expert forensic report.
The proceedings are brought under Art. 192 of the Criminal Code (Breach of Trust),
with an investigation period of 6 months.
